To preserve Canada’s human rights stories, bringing them directly to communities through travelling exhibitions, and one day connect the country with a museum on rails that inspires every generation to stand up for human dignity, equality, and justice.
Our Vision
The Human Rights Train envisions a Canada where every person understands that human rights are not abstract ideals, but living responsibilities shared by us all.
We imagine a travelling museum and national learning experience that brings stories of courage, injustice, resistance, reconciliation, and progress directly to communities across the country. Through immersive exhibitions, preserved histories, personal storytelling, education, and dialogue, the Human Rights Train will connect Canada’s past to the choices we make today.
Our vision is to transform train cars into moving spaces of remembrance, learning, and hope—creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to encounter stories that may otherwise remain unheard.
